Dr. Leah Vernacchia grew up in Northville, Michigan, and has always been passionate about creating confident, healthy smiles. She completed her undergraduate studies at Michigan State University before earning her dental degree from the University of Detroit Mercy. She then pursued advanced specialty training in orthodontics at Rutgers University, where she developed her expertise in delivering personalized, patient-centered orthodontic care. Since 2020, Dr. Vernacchia has practiced throughout the Metro Detroit area, gaining extensive experience treating patients of all ages with a wide range of orthodontic needs. She is thrilled to bring her skill, compassion, and enthusiasm to the Tecumseh Orthodontic Specialists team. Outside the office, Dr. Vernacchia loves spending time with her husband, Andy, and their daughter, Evelyn. She enjoys reading, sewing and quilting, and connecting with family and friends whenever she can. Dr. Vernacchia looks forward to building lasting relationships with patients and helping every individual feel confident in their smile.
