Dr. Leah Vernacchia grew up in Northville, Michigan, and has always been passionate about creating confident, healthy smiles. She completed her undergraduate studies at Michigan State University before earning her dental degree from the University of Detroit Mercy. She then pursued advanced specialty training in orthodontics at Rutgers University, where she developed her expertise in delivering personalized, patient-centered orthodontic care. Since 2020, Dr. Vernacchia has practiced throughout the Metro Detroit area, gaining extensive experience treating patients of all ages with a wide range of orthodontic needs. She is thrilled to bring her skill, compassion, and enthusiasm to the Tecumseh Orthodontic Specialists team. Outside the office, Dr. Vernacchia loves spending time with her husband, Andy, and their daughter, Evelyn. She enjoys reading, sewing and quilting, and connecting with family and friends whenever she can. Dr. Vernacchia looks forward to building lasting relationships with patients and helping every individual feel confident in their smile.

I had the pleasure of being a patient for the last 5 years. I had a somewhat complex case, and the staff at TOS never let me down (special shoutout to Mary!). Everyone on the staff is so kind, caring, and supportive. I’d highly recommend TOS to anyone searching for an orthodontist!

Friendly staff, they explain everything very well, never have to wait long, very clean facility, entertainment options for my 6 year old while we wait for her older sister to finish her appointment, amenities (coffee maker, water, popsicles/ice cream sandwiches) are a very nice touch as well. I feel they go above and beyond to make everyone comfortable and enjoy the time spent there.
