"Hinesly Orthodontics is absolutely wonderful! From the very beginning, we could feel the family atmosphere and professionalism that sets them apart. They truly take care of their patients and make the entire experience enjoyable. When we first started, they even rented out a theater and showed Inside Out 2 for their patients and families—such a thoughtful way to bring everyone together.They also go above and beyond with fun programs like their summer reading challenges where patients can earn prizes, which really shows how much they care about kids’ growth in and out of the office. Most importantly, they taught both of our daughters how to properly care for their teeth. My oldest just got her braces off, and her smile is absolutely stunning—we couldn’t be happier with the results!I would highly recommend Hinesly Orthodontics and their amazing team to anyone looking for quality care in a warm, welcoming environment."

"Every staff member is welcoming, friendly, helpful and professional. Denise was great. Very patient, she even took the time to show me how to use their complimentary coffee machine. We were wanting to wait a few months for our son to get braces but they put all our concerns at rest and answered all our questions. Dr Levy is pretty funny and He and Tiffany made sure to answer all our questions. The other staff even went out of her way to say hi and asked how our day was. Braces are never cheap but I feel like we are getting our money's worth with this practice."

"I saw Dr. Hinesly back around 1995 when I was around around 13 yrs old. Then my daughter saw him about 10 yrs ago and now my 11 yr old goes there. It's so great to walk in and have the few that are still there remember me from when I went there. And I'm pretty sure my 8 yr old is going to need braces also."
"Very happy with my child's treatment so far. She's seen both Dr. Hinesly and Dr. Levy, who has now taken over her treatment. We came into their office a couple years ago and Dr. Hinesly was forthcoming in wanting to delay her treatment until she grew a little more. Dr. Levy saw us when we came back and has put together a complicated treatment plan with ease and has been very transparent along the way. My daughter got her braces put on a few days ago and everyone has been so wonderful in talking to her, as she is the patient, and addressing her questions. I am grateful we chose this office because their knowledge and expertise with our complicated needs has been impeccable and my daughter has a long road ahead! Also, their pricing came in lower than our former orthodontist from the Detroit area. Thank you Hinesly team for giving us confidence in you and superior care!!!"

"First let me just add 1 thing for all those that don't know, just because your dentist recommends an orthodontist doesn't mean that they take your insurance it just means that your dentist gets a kickback for you using their services... this orthodontist WAS NOT recommended by our dentist and WAS in our dental network, which cost 400 dollars less.Now hinsley nurses and doctors were great they talked to us as the parents and they talked to our child and respected her thoughts and commentary, they didn't call 40 times to check up on us they called 1 time over a 2 month period and we scheduled an appointment at the second call. They were all very knowledgeable about the products they were using and they were very patient and professional with answering my questions and my daughter got her braces today and she is very happy as am I.Thank you very much."

"Hands down the best orthodontist treatments in Ann Arbor and maybe even the state! Super friendly staff, clean office, coffee/tea/ water for the parents waiting, and ice cream for the kiddos when they get out! My son and daughter love early morning appointments to eat ice cream for breakfast lol! I wish this office was around when I had braces as a kid!"
"All of the staff are amazing at Dr. Hinesly’s office! From the front desk, to the billing, hygienists, both doctors and beyond! Both of my kids are now in braces and have had the best care. They make them feel so comfortable and are accommodating. Both kids LOVE Mary! She goes above and beyond in her care and is even available by phone after hours for her patients if any questions arise!"
"Really nice staff!!! They always make sure you are comfortable with ur braces and never do anything without ur consent. Always ask if u have enough supplies and has you brush ur teeth without the wire in. Im so glad i chose this ortho!!!!"

"This is an amazing office! Their attention to details from the patient care itself- to the little trinkets, goodies, and drawings they have make orthodontic care almost "enjoyable" for the kids! While braces sometimes hurt to be tightened, etc.- the actual office visits have never been dreaded by any of my kids! We love Hinesly Orthodontics!"

"My daughter got her braces on yesterday. Hinesly’s has been absolutely amazing. I started off at a different office for consultation and am extremely happy I made the switch. The office staff is absolutely amazing and the doctor is so nice, helpful and down to earth. Audryanna loved the assistant who took care of her yesterday. They even sent her on her way with a gift bag with an electric toothbrush, a good fluoride toothpaste, floss with flossers for braces, chapstick, dental wax and some other stuff. To say I’m happy with this office is an understatement!"

"I received a phone call from my daughter's school that she was in a lot of pain and a wire was sticking out along with a bracket that came off from her braces. I called the Tecumseh office hoping someone would answer forgetting that they were not open but luckily, they listed their emergency number. I called the emergency number and Mary answered. With no hesitation she offered to come down to Tecumseh from Jackson to take a look. During the whole time, she kept in contact with me and even called again to let me know she was running a little behind. After she fixed everything, she called me again since my daughter drove herself to let me know what had happened, and mentioned how she called the school to inform them of the short absence of my daughter. She went above and beyond with her service and it's nice that they have wonderful people working at this office. I wish I could give more than a 5-star rating because they truly care about their patients and don't just treat them as a number."

"Right when we walked through the door we were greated warmly. Kendra was nice and super helpful. Then Denise helped us. She is a coordinator for your braces journey. Saying that she is great with children is an understatement. And the doctor was in sync with her. They asked my daughter questions that got to know HER as a person. This created a safe environment that made my daughter feel at ease. They gave her a pop it and chapstick , which she loved instantly. We are excited to start our braces journey with this amazing team."

"There are not enough stars to express my thoughts on this office and Dr. Hinesly himself. I came in under non-traditional circumstances later in life after having many years of orthodontia and reconstructive surgeries, and his staff have always treated me with such kindness. I returned to his office today to check on my progress post-operatively (with the surgeon he recommended personally) and he was so complimentary and made me feel so good about my progress, despite having a long way to go with my healing. He and his staff just made me feel good about my smile! I sat in the chair not knowing whether he was going to recommend I get braces, and he was thinking out loud. He told me that while he is a perfectionist, if I were his sister he would not recommend braces. After the initial shock and joy, I really thought about it. This is a professional who could be picky and put me back through the trauma of braces which would inevitably make him money off of me as a patient, but instead he continually complimented my progress, shared his happiness with me, and gave me a voucher to have pictures taken of my smile. I left their office feeling better about my smile than I have in probably 15 years. I cannot recommend Dr. Hinesly and his staff enough and know that when the day comes that my child requires orthodontia, I will be right back in that office."

"Dr. Hinesly is a class act! From first consultation to braces off took 8 years, never with bill attached to any. Dr. Hinesly always included Nick in the decision making and explained that while Nick needed braces, he had not "grown into his head yet." and wasn't comfortable putting them on early only to have him go through it again. He extended his treatment 8 months because he was not pleased with the movement near Nick's 24 month contract. 30 years ago my orthodontist took mine off the week after our last payment cleared our account, my teeth were not 100% correct. Nick's payment plan was paid of within the first year. The sign of a great Orthodontist and Orthodontic team is to include the patient in the decisions. Dr. Hinelsy and his team treated us like family, knowing details about both Nick, his sister, who now is a patient, and us parents. Basically, the whole package. I will only refer to Dr. Hinesly, well worth the 35 minute drive for us."
